The Duke Blue Devils have had quite a year in the ACC and are looking like they will be a formidable team indeed as soon as the March Madness tournament starts. The Blue Devils have a good chance compared to the other teams out there to take down the NCAA tourney, especially now that freshman Elliott Williams has been pulled off the bench and is the starting guard. Fans are already scooping up Duke March Madness tickets, and that trend will continue as we get closer to tip off for the NCAA tourney. Williams joining the starting line sent the Blue Devils onto a five-game tear where Duke beat everyone. That is until they lost to UNC. “It’s made us a better basketball team,” said coach K. “We didn’t realize how big an impact it was going to make. It’s had a huge impact.”
The Blue Devils will be relying on 6-8 sophomore Kyle Singler to lead Duke basketball to NCAA Tournament glory. Singler is an above average three point shooter and opposing players are going to have a hard time containing him. Who DUke is playing in the NCA Tournament will be decided on Selection Sunday. With the record they have put up this year they should safely be a four seed or better, so they have a great shot to make it pretty deep into the tourney.
